Degree in Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU, 2001), Master in Applied Chemistry and Polymeric Materials (UPV/EHU, 2003) and PhD in Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU, 2007). Post-doctoral researcher at ICMSE, US-CSIC (2007-2009). Contracted doctor for the specialization of doctor research staff in the UPV EHU (2009-2011).

It is part of the Group of Structured Catalytic Systems for Energy and Environmental Applications (UPV / EHU). Her research area in Heterogeneous Catalysis is focused on structured catalytic systems. From the point of view of the study processes, the guiding principle is the processes for environmental protection (oxidation of VOCs, elimination of nitrates in water ...) and energy (Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, methanol reforming, dimethyl ether synthesis,...). Currently, she is a principal investigator of the Sabatier Reaction in Microchannels for the Production of Synthetic Natural Biogas (CTQ2015-73901-JIN, MINECO) project, and is co-author of some 50 articles indexed in the JCR.

Part-time Interim Labor Professor 2015-2016 (Faculty of Science and Technology) and full-time Assistant Professor since 2018/2019 (Faculty of Chemistry), having taught the subjects of Projects in Industrial Chemistry and Chemistry and Environmental Technology in the Degree in Chemistry, Experimentation in Chemical Engineering I and Chemical Engineering in the degree of Chemical Engineering.
