Naroa Zubillaga (Andoain, 1982). She studied Translation and Interpreting and the master's degree in Linguistics and Basque Philology at the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU). In 2013 she presented her PhD n translation into Basque of German children’s literature under the supervision of Doctor Ibon Uribarri (the complete English translation of the title would be the following: “German children’s and youth literature translated into euskera. Corpus based analysis of direct and indirect translations). She currently works as a teacher and researcher in the degree of translation and interpretation at the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU). The focus of her research is the analysis of translations into the Basque language, the translation of children's and youth literature and the corpus based analysis of translations. Her working languages are English and German. She is also author of some literary translations, among others, the translation into the Basque of the anthology of short stories by Franz Kafka (Bizian Argitaratuak, 2007), the first volume of the trilogy by Cornelia Funke (Tinta-bihotz, 2009), a book by Michael Ende (Magia-eskola Desioen Erreinuan, 2010) or a novel by Chuck Palahniuk (Borroka Kluba, 2014).
