Estivaliz Garrote has a PhD, a degree in Physical Sciences and in Electronics Engineer from the University of the Basque Country. As a specialist in computer vision applications, he has participated in more than 50 national and international research projects related to quality control, manufacturing processes, biometrics, recycling and accessibility. She has worked on the development of neuroinspired models, an area in which he has collaborated within the groups of Tomasso Poggio (MIT), John Mollon (University of Cambridge) and Thomas Serre (Brown University), who have converged with the deep learning paradigm. He is currently working on advanced processing in quantum sensors.
