In December 2013 I defended the Ph.D. Thesis tittled ´Evaluation and diagnosis of coupled climate models included in the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report'. Work that is basically a statistical evaluation of Climatic Models of General Circulation of the Atmosphere at planetary level. The statistical studies and anlalysis of the new generations of climate models has been the line of research for which I was responsible within the University Research Group in Meteorology and Climatology.

Nowadays, I am promoting a new line of research at the college department, such as Computational Fluid Simulation (CFD) of aerodynamic systems by using open (OpenFOAM) and commercial CFD codes. This line of research is partially channelled through the offer of Degree Thesis at the College and is open to collaboration with students from Master's studies who wish to carry out the Master Project.

The subjects linked to Fluid Mechanics that I teach are offered in Basque, Spanish and English, in line with the policy of institutional trilingualism. In these years, I have been concerned with teaching innovation, conducting multiple courses to acquire pedagogical but also methodological teaching skills. The teaching methodology is based on the continuous assessment of students and project-based learning. Since 2013, I am the coordinator of the departmental section at the College.
