MethodologyToggle Navigation

Type of teaching: Classroom teaching focused on the student and encouraging the active participation of students. It is planned with the aim of working on the competences and knowledge defined for the subject. Active methodologies used include problem solving, readings, case studies, critical questions and discussions, work and reports and their presentation.

In the event that health conditions prevent the performance of a face-to-face teaching activity and/or assessment, a non-classroom (or bimodal) modality will be activated, of which students will be promptly informed.

Assessment systemsToggle Navigation

  • Final Assessment System
  • Tools and qualification percentages:
    • Written test to be taken (%): 70
    • Team projects (problem solving, project design)) (%): 20
    • Exhibition of works, readings ... (%): 10

Ordinary Call: Orientations and DisclaimerToggle Navigation

Students in continuous assessment:

Assignments: 30% (all assignments must be completed and passed).

Final exam: 70% (at least 3 points (out of 7) must be obtained in the exam).

FINAL mark: in order to pass the course a minimum of 5 points must be obtained by adding the marks of the assignments and the exam.

ATTENTION:

- If you do not pass the exam, the marks of the exam papers will be kept for the next exam (July)(NOT NEXT COURSE).

- If you do not take the exam, the grade will be NOT PRESENTED and the marks obtained will be kept for the next exam session.

Only the following materials will be admitted in the exam of this subject: a pencil, a pen, a calculator, an eraser and tipex. According to article 39 of the Regulations of Academic Management of Degree and First and Second Cycle 2016/17, given that the value of the final exam is 50%, failure to take this exam will result in the waiver of the evaluation and will be recorded as Not Presented.

Evaluation not carried out:

According to article 43 of the Regulations of Academic Management of Degree and First and Second Cycle 2016/17, the student has the right to sit a final exam that allows him/her to obtain a 100% mark in the subject. To exercise this option, the student must inform the lecturer at least three days before the date of the exam. In this case, the test will take place under non-continuous assessment conditions (see below).

The first part of this exam will be the same as the one for continuous assessment students. In the second part there will be supplementary questions. These questions will focus on the topics covered in the group work, individual work or supplementary materials proposed by the teacher. In order to pass the exam you must obtain at least 5 points.

When, due to health problems, the face-to-face activities or the evaluation cannot be carried out, these will be carried out by means of the non-face-to-face modality. All information and details of this modality will be communicated to the students with due notice.

Extraordinary Call: Orientations and DisclaimerToggle Navigation

Students in continuous assessment:

As indicated above, the extraordinary evaluation will consist of the repetition of those parts of the subject that have been failed (work and/or exam). In order to pass the course, students must have passed both parts of the course and have a total of five points between them.

In accordance with current regulations, it is not necessary to justify the waiver of continuous assessment, so that anyone can directly take the final exam for 100% of the mark.

Thus, if the person prefers, and after notifying the teacher at least three days before the date of the exam, any student may be assessed by means of a single written test on the total of the mark.

Non-attendance students:

In accordance with the current regulations, it is not necessary to justify the waiver of continuous assessment, so that any person can directly take the final test on 100% of the mark.

Thus, if the person prefers, and after notifying the teacher at least three days before the date of the exam, any student may be assessed by means of a single written test on the total of the mark.

The material allowed during the final exam will be a blue pen and a student identification card.

Note: In the event that health conditions prevent the carrying out of a face-to-face teaching activity and/or assessment, an off-site modality will be activated, of which students will be promptly informed.
