Chemical Engineer by the School of Engineering of Bilbao (UPV / EHU, 2010) and Master in Chemical Process Engineering and Sustainable Development (UPV / EHU, 2011). Basque Government Scholar (2011-2014) for the completion of the Doctoral Thesis in the group TQSA (Chemical Technologies for Environmental Sustainability) of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the UPV / EHU. Predoctoral stay at the École Centrale of the University of Lille (France). International PhD in Chemical Engineering (UPV / EHU, 2015) with Outstanding Mention Cum Laude and Extraordinary Prize in the Area of Engineering 2017.
It focuses its research work on catalytic technologies for the elimination of nitrogen oxides (NOx), including storage and reduction (NSR) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR). It also works on the preparation of new catalysts for CO2 methanation. He is coauthor of 20 articles indexed in the JCR. He has participated as a collaborator in 7 research projects.
His professional activity has been developed both in the teaching and industrial fields. Interim Professor of Labor for 10 months in the School of Engineering of Bilbao and in the FCT-ZTF and 5 months in Lointek S.A, in design and manufacture of high pressure equipment for the chemical industry. After 3 years as a Doctor Researcher, he is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California at Berkeley under the supervision of Professor Enrique Iglesia in the mechanistic study of the WGS reaction.
