Industrial Engineer, mechanical specialty by the School of Engineering of Bilbao (1999). He obtained his PhD at the University of the Basque Country, in the area of learning in technology education, in 2010. He is an associate professor in the Department of Graphic Design and Engineering Projects at the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao (UPV/EHU) since 2003.

He has been a teacher in two knowledge areas, “Technical Drawing” at the School of Engineering of Bilbao and Technical pedagogy in the “Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching .

He has participated in more than 5 research projects with public funding. He has participated in more than 25 research and technology transfer contracts with private companies.

He has more than 25 contributions in international congresses. He is coauthor of more than 10 indexed scientific articles.

Because of articles published in the field of education, in 2015 CNEAI recognized a six-year term in the field of Didactics of Experimental Sciences.

He continues investigating in the field of the technological education, the last article approved is of the year 2019.
