Dr. Itsaso Leceta is Lecturer in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and member of the BIOMAT research group. She received her Doctorate in Renewable Materials Engineering at the Engineering School of Gipuzkoa in Donostia-San Sebastian. Currently, her research addresses the optimization and improvement of biopolimeric materials' properties and related processes.
