Since 2001 he has been a professor in the department of mechanical engineering. He has taken many responsabilities in the management of the Engineering faculty of Gipuzkoa and in the Gipuzkoa Campus. Currently, he is doing work as a vocal at the Technical Committee of Normalization CTN 015 MÁQUINAS-HERRAMIENTA.
