She received (2005) the bachelor’s degree in Technical Industrial Engineering, specialty on Industrial Electronic from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), the Master’s degree in Automatic and Industrial Electronics Engineering (2007) from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and the Ph.D. degree (2012, doctoral thesis award) from the UPV/EHU.
She is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Systems Engineering and Control at the Faculty of Engineering, Gipuzkoa (Donostia), where she teaches subjects in undergraduate (“Classical control theory” and “Digital Electronics systems”) and postgraduate (Advanced Control of Generators Powered by Wind Turbines) courses.
She is also a member of the “Intelligence Systems and Energy (SI+E)” research team. Her main research lines are focused on the design and development of advanced control algorithm for electrical machines and power converters connected to non-ideal electricity grids (weak grids, unbalanced, distorted, etc.).
