Bachelor Degree in Translation and Interpreting at Universidade de Vigo, with a Master's Degree in Translation and Paratranslation and a PhD Student in the same programme. Her research focuses on urban spaces and translation. She has published several scientific articles in Journals and related monographs.



Romasanta has worked as a freelance translator for 18 years with translation agencies, companies, institutions and associations in different fields of expertise. Besides, she has been appointed as Sworn Translation and Interpreter of English/Spanish by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

As a university lecturer she started in 2012/2013 at Universidade de Vigo, where still teaches Traducción Especializada Económica y Comercial [Specialised Translation: Economy and Commerce] (English/Spanish) within the Master in Translation for International Communication. Since September 2019, she works as a full-time lecturer at Universidad del País Vasco UPV/EHU.
