Eider Gomez obtained her English Philology Degree in the year 2008, and in the year 2011, she got her Certificate of Advanced Studies in Compared Literature and Literary Science (CAS). She is a student of the doctorate in Comparative Literature and Literary Studies, and now, she is writing her PhD thesis about resistance to trauma during the Second World War. She is currently working as a teacher in the department of English, German and Translation and Interpretation in the University of the Basque Country.
