Begoña Sarrionandia Guirtubay is presently teaching at the UPV/EHU in the English Studies Program at the Department of English and German Philology and Translation and Interpretation Studies. Her research deals mostly with the analysis of the linguistic competence in second language, the construction of second language exams, and the methodology of English language teaching. Her PhD dissertation was on exams of second language. She has published in several journals (ES, English Studies, Lenguage y Sociedad), among others.
