Description and Contextualization of the SubjectToggle Navigation
Structure of the Communicative System is a mandatory subject of the fourth year of the Audiovisual Communication Degree.
In this subject, specifically, basic knowledge of the communication system will be acquired, especially the audiovisual industry. The student will know the basic components of the value chain of the audiovisual industry (conception, production, distribution, exhibition and consumption).

- Timely shows the economic weight of the different areas of communication and culture
- Explains in a clear and logical way the functions of the communication system
- Performs an adjusted comparative analysis of the different sectors and existing dynamics
- Analyzes and adequately explains the value chains of the different industries and the changes that are occurring in them - Identifies and appropriately describes the main communication groups
- Conveniently analyzes the main trends in the consumption of communication and culture
- Describes communication policies and the institutions that develop and apply them
- Logically analyzes audiovisual regulation and its evolution
- Adequately describes the main characteristics of the communication systems of the Spanish State and the Basque Country
- Perform timely comparative analyzes between different communication systems
- Presents and adequately argues his/her own opinions regarding the issues raised

In line with the IKD Cooperative and Dynamic Learning model (Ikaskuntza Kooperatibo eta Dinamikoa), within the master modality, a "participatory master class" is chosen, trying to incorporate student participation whenever possible and bringing the knowledge that is being taught closer. to its closest reality. Thus, within the master classes, three elements are incorporated to involve the students: the "activities"; the "readings" and the "debates".

Students who miss more than two sessions must take the final evaluation.
Extraordinary Call: Orientations and DisclaimerToggle Navigation
Every student has the right to opt for the final evaluation. Students will have six weeks to notify the teacher, counting from the beginning of the course. The final evaluation will consist of a written exam on the mandatory materials and basic bibliography.
