Bachelor (1996) and Doctor (2009) (Extraordinary Award) in Classical Philology by the UPV / EHU, he also worked as a Pre-doctoral member of the Classics Department (1999-2003). He has worked as Contract Professor from 2004 to the present, period in which he has taught fundamental subjects of Latin Language and Literature with a preferential dedication to the translation of Latin texts, Latin linguistics and the reception of Latin literature in the Middle Ages and Renaissance.



His research focuses on the following fields:

-Production and Reception of the Ancient Literary Culture: Text Commentary and Emblematics.

-Text Commentary in French Humanism: Jodocus Badius Ascensius (1452-1535).

-Translation of Latin works of a pedagogical nature not yet translated into Spanish.



Fields in which it is worth mentioning the publication in 2013 of his Estudio y edición del comentario humanístico escolar de Jodoco Badio Ascensio al poeta satírico Persio (Vitoria-Gasteiz: Anejos de Veleia Series Minor 30, 2013, 280 págs.
