In 2010 I got a BA in History at UPV/EHU and in 2011 I studied the MA Europe and the Atlantic world: power, culture and society at the same university. In 2012 I got a MSc in Palaeopathology at the University of Durham (UK). In 2020, thanks to a FPU scholarship funded by the Ministry of Education, I earned a PhD at UPV/EHU with the dissertation Social archaeology of food in early medieval rural Iberia (5th-9th c. AD), supervised by Juan Antonio Quirós. I completed two research stays at the University of Campania (Italy), I published a dozen of papers in national and international scientific journals and I participated in twenty-three scientific meetings in different European countries and the USA. Since 2010 I am a member of the Research Group in Heritage and Cultural Landscapes funded by the Government of the Basque Country and I took part in three research projects supported by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. My main research lines are Early Middle Ages, social archaeology, palaeodiet, mobility and isotopic analyses. During the academic year 2014-2015 I participated as a trainee lecturer in the BA in History at UPV/EHU and since October 2020 I am a substitute lecturer at the Archaeology section of the same university. Besides, I worked as a human osteoarchaeologists in commercial archaeology and in activities related to the dissemination of cultural heritage.
