I obtained my degree in English Philology at Deusto University and completed the MA Language Acquisition in Multilingual Settings at the UPV/EHU. In 2017 I defended my PhD dissertation and was awarded with an Excellent cum laude mark.



I have participated in two MINECO projects (one still in process) and I am a member of the “Language and Speech” (www.laslab.org/ruth) consolidated research group, awarded with A category (Excellence), where I have worked as a research assistant (PIC). Thanks to the participation in this projects and groups I have been able to attend a considerable number of conferences, most of them international but also national ones, I have taken part in the organization of events, workshops and conferences and I have published and will soon publish articles in prestigious journals and book chapters in well-known publishing houses.



My research field is foreign language acquisition and teaching, specifically teaching techniques such as error correction, collaborative language and CLIL approach, language learning strategies and teachers’ and learners’ beliefs about foreign language teaching.
