Graduated in Early Childhood Education (2014) by the UPV/EHU, I completed my training with an official university master's degree: the Master in Psychodidactics (UPV/EHU, 2015). PhD in Psychodidactics (2023) by the UPV/EHU, my doctoral thesis, written in Basque and English and defended in both languages, obtained the qualification of outstanding cum laude, in addition to mention of International Doctorate and Doctorate in Basque. My line of research focuses on early childhood education (0-3), specifically on observing quality environments for children's daily life and education professionals during daily care in early childhood education classrooms (0-3).
I have published several articles in journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports, a book, several book chapters, and other indexed scientific articles. I have also participated in several research projects obtained in competitive calls, most of them European. I have also been part of the organizing and scientific committee of international conferences. I have also made an international stay of 6 months.
At the teaching level, I am a professor in the Department of Didactics and School Organization of the UPV/EHU since 2016. Likewise, I have also given training to public servants through the Basque Institute of Public Administration (IVAP). In addition, I have participated in several teaching innovation projects. I am a member of the Academic Committee of the Faculty of Education of Bilbao since 2019.
