Graduated (2007) and PhD in Fine Arts (2014) from UPV/EHU, she specializes in artistic photography in New York (ICP, 2014), works as assistant of British sculptor Jason Decaires Taylor at Museo Atlántico in Lanzarote (2015- 2016) and curates Juliantxo Irujo’s anthological exhibition at the Museum of Navarra (2017), year since she has been a professor at the UPV/EHU Faculty of Education.



Her commitment to Artistic Education lies in its capacity for social transformation, where she applies the gender perspective to contribute to co-education. Her publications and conferences also focus on feminist art and the critical study of women´s depiction in the Arts and Visual Culture. Among other contributions, she is author of 2 books and co-author of 4.



Since 2016 she is a research member of the EHU 16/41 Research Project “Art, Research and Feminisms”. The team is part of the "Archive Project" and is linked to the International Feminist Knowledge Network "Viva Feminist Art". She is a research member in the University-Society Research Project “A. I. F .: Gender and multiculturalism ”(US 19/21) and collaborating member in the Project“ Coeducation and gender violence ”, UPV / EHU School of Education. She has held various national and international exhibitions in Bilbao, San Sebastián, Granada, Madrid, Lanzarote, Berlin, Innsbruck and Hasselt.
