She read her doctoral thesis, entitled "Régimen jurídico, económico y social de las mujeres en el País Vasco durante la Baja Edad Media", in 2016. She worked as a teacher of Secondary Education in different institutes of the public network (2013-2018). In 2018 she began working as a temporary contract teacher in the Department of Didactics of Social Sciences (UPV-EHU) and is currently an assistant teacher. Originally, the orientation of her research topics focused on the study of women in the Basque Country during the 14th and 15th centuries, as a result of which she is part of the Sociedad, Poder y Cultura (XIV-XVIII) research group, led by José Ramón Díaz de Durana. More recently, her lines of research have been associated with the Didactics of History, addressing issues related to heritage education and gender-education.
