Doctor of Geography and History, and Education graduate of Basque Philology Studies ( The first class in Basque). He has worked in Primary/Secondary Education and nowadays is professor at university of Basque Country UPV-EHU (Faculty of Education, Philosophy and Antropology; Department of Didactic of Social Sciences). Before he teached at Faculty of Education of Vitoria-Gasteiz UPV-EHU(Department of Didactic and School Organization).



With a interdisciplinary methodology (Social History, Political Philosophy, Sociology of the knowledge, Cultural Antropology, Social Psycology...) his research works are about studies of memory and social imagery, also on the aspects of the resistance to totalitarianism, as well as memoricide and ideologicide in the basic groups (family, local community, factory...) on the generations of the poswar period in Basque Country from the oral testimonies.



On Didactic his researchs are looking for approachs for a new didactic and conceptual renovation in the field of inclusive iconography and about the Teaching of contents.



He is the author of the book: La razón creadora. Una teoría para la emancipación pedagógica (no published)



He is fellow of Eusko Ikaskuntza, IOHA eta SFO societies.
