Natalia Monge Gómez (Bilbao, 1972). Choreographer, dancer, educator and researcher in performing arts and education. After graduating in Physical Education and working as a teacher in schools, she moved to Amsterdam where she graduated in Choreographic Composition at the School for New Dance Development.

She holds a PhD in Fine Arts and currently teaches and researchers at the Faculty of Education in Bilbao in the Department of Didactics of Music, Visual Arts and Body Expression. Her job is to try to bring the potential of the body, especially the expressive, communicative and creative body to the educational field.



She currently teaches the subjects of Physical Education and its Didactics (Degree in Primary Education), Body and Motor Expressivity: Proposals, Techniques and Strategies for Intervention in Education (Degree in Social Education) and Practicum (Primary Education).



As a creator she founded ORGANIK, a company she has run since its origins. She creates interdisciplinary dance pieces and carries out pedagogical projects in schools. In her creations she starts from personal aspects or from symbols or cultural values from the Basque Culture. From a language between text and dance, she uses movement as a vehicle of expression and emotions. She looks for different landscapes through the connection to the sound world and usually from an ironic look.
