In March 2010, I obtained the Diploma in Biology at the University of Naples Federico II, which I finished with the defense of the Final Degree Thesis entitled “Characterization of a Bacillus Subtilis Mutant”. During my last year of bachelor's degree I participated in the Erasmus project for the University of Oviedo for 9 months. In 2013, I graduated in Biology at the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU) and I studied the Master in Microbiology and Health at the same university. In January 2014 I was the winner of the pre-doctoral grant from the Basque Government to carry out my doctoral thesis entitled "Characterization and evaluation of the antifungal activity of antibodies raised against the germ tube of Candida albicans in a rabbit model and patients with invasive candidiasis" which I defended in July 2018, obtaining distinction cum laude. In 2016, I did a 3-month stay in London (United Kingdom), at King's College. From April to July 2018, I worked as a researcher in the Medical Mycology laboratory. And, since 2019, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the UPV-EHU, participating in a project co-financed by the Basque Government and the European Union through the FEDER Funds. In September 2021, I won the UPV-EHU Adjunct Professor public examination at the Faculty of Pharmacy, where I currently work. At the same time, I am part of the GEIFI research group (Fungal Infections Research Group)
