Licentiate in Biology (1991) and PhD (2000) in the UPV/EHU, professor of the Department of Immunology, Microbiology and Parasitology of this University since 1996. In the field of university management, Secretary of the Campus of Araba since 2013.
Full-year pre-doctorate at University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland. For two years, she developed the Molecular Biotechnology Techniques at Basurto Hospital.
She has worked in the field of HIV, HBV, human papillomavirus and herpesvirus. She has participated in 16 research projects, co-author in several publications: 15 scientific articles, 4 book chapters, 80 contributions in national and international congresses and 6 divulgation articles.
She is currently a professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, teaches the subject of Immunology, the Degree in Pharmacy and the Master's Degree in Microbiology and Health and the Innovative Enology.
