Description and Contextualization of the SubjectToggle Navigation
La asignatura de Biologia Celular y Tisular se imparte en los grados de Farmacia y Nutrición Humana y Dietética. Es una asignatura Básica de rama, sin prerrequisitos, y se imparte en el primer cuatrimestre del primer curso de ambos grados.
En esta asignatura se imparten conocimientos básicos de Biología Celular e Histología General Humana. Representa un primer contacto con el conocimiento sobre la estrcutura y función de los organismos vivos, que tendrá una continuidad con asignaturas como anatomia (2º cuatrimestre) o Fisiología Humana (2º curso).
Por tanto, esta asignatura tiene una gran relevancia a la hora de establecer una base de conocimiento que contribuirá de forma importante en la comprensión de asignaturas como las siguientes:
GRADO DE FARMACIA: Anatomia, Fisiología Humana, Fisiopatología, Inmunología, Farmacología, Toxicología y otras.
GRADO EN NUTRICIÓN HUMANA Y DIETÉTICA: Bioquímica, Fisiología Humana, Anatomia, Fisiología y Bioquímica del Desarrollo y el Deporte, Microbiología y Parasitología General entre otras.
La correcta comprensión de la estructura y la función de la Célula y de los tejidos es imprescindible en cualquier profesión de naturaleza biosanitaria.

CLASES MAGISTRALES
Trabajaremos los contenidos descritos mediante clases magistrales, mediante presentaciones con diapositivas (powerpoint), pero se intentará fomentar la participación activa del alumnado mediante breves debates, pruebas o cuestiones a resolver en el momento(de manera individual o por grupos) o lecturas previas guíadas sobre el tema que se va a tratar.
PRÁCTICAS EN EL AULA
En ellas se estudiarán imagenes de microscopía electrónica y se mejorará la comprensión de los temas tratados en las magistrales mediante el análisis de imágenes y/o problemas de manera cooperativa.
PRÁCTICAS DE LABORATORIO
Se realizarán en sesiones de 4 horas, en el laboratorio de prácticas de microscopía. Se pretende que el alumnado adquiera un nivel medio en el manejo del microscopio óptico de transmisión y en la interpretación de imágenes microscópicas. El/la alumno/a se familiarizará con las tinciones básicas y estudiará preparaciones histológicas directamente relacionadas con los contenidos teóricos sobre Histología General.
