En esta asignatura el estudiante aprende cuales son los fundamentos de las principales disciplinas geofísicas (sísmica, gravedad, magnetismo,...) para analizar y comprender la estructura y dinámica interna de la Tierra. Finalmente, se pretende que se familiaricen con los fundamentos geofísicos que sustentan la Tectónica de Placas.
