PhD in Linguistics and Basque Philology (UPV/EHU, 2020). I defended the thesis entitled “The Basque particles -a, al and ote in interrogative contexts: syntax, microvariation and interpretation.” I studied Basque Philology (UPV/EHU, 2013) and the Master in Linguistics and Basque Philology (UPV/EHU, 2015) at the Faculty of Letters of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

I have been teaching in the Department of Language and Communication at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) since 2020. During that time, I have devoted myself to technical language, grammatical issues, oral communication and linguistic variants and texts. I currently teach “Norm and Uses of Basque” and “Communication in Basque” at the Faculty of Science and Technology, after my passing at the School of Pharmacy and the School of Engineering of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

My focus is on the Basque language, microvariation, syntactic theory, modal particles and their pragmatics. At present my activity focuses on the syntax of modal particles and adverbs (sentencial adverbs) in Basque, taking into account crosslinguistic and historical data.
