Graduated in Physiotherapy in 2013 from the University of Salamanca (Diploma since 1993 from the Autonomous University of Barcelona). She completed a Master's Degree in Chest Physiotherapy from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2014.
She has worked as a physiotherapist at the Araba University Hospital from 1993 to date, working in the area of respiratory and cardiac physiotherapy.
She is an associated professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing of the UPV/EHU, teaching the subjects Specific Intervention Methods in Physiotherapy I and II of the 2nd year and Physiotherapy in Clinical Specialties I and II of the 3rd year of the Physiotherapy degree and directing Works End of Degree on a regular basis.
Her line of research focuses on respiratory and cardiac physiotherapy.
She has participated in academic and/or clinical research projects related to Respiratory Physiotherapy (Pulmonary rehabilitation and Physiotherapy in oncological lung resection surgery). She has presented communications/presentations at national and international conferences (25) and is the author of a scientific publication related to the “Impact of COVID-19 on the health of post-critical patients”.
