The academic background is strong and diverse, with a bachelor's degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences from the University of the Basque Country (EHU/UPV) in 2003 and a degree in Physiotherapy from Rovira i Virgili University in 2006.



In 2020, a doctorate was completed at the University of the Basque Country (EHU/UPV) with a thesis titled "Evaluation of Anthropometric Characteristics and Physical Condition of High-Level Basketball Players and Developing Players," supervised by Javier Gil Goikouria and Juan José Torres, and received a cum laude distinction.



Research experience includes works such as "Anthropometric Parameters, Age, and Agility as Performance Predictors in Elite Female Basketball Players," published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research in 2018, and "The Feldenkrais Method Improves Functioning and Body Balance in People with Intellectual Disability in Supported Employment: A Randomized Clinical Trial" in Research in Developmental Disabilities in 2017. Additionally, a book was published titled "Manual de Ejercicio Físico para Personas de Edad Avanzada Sanas y con Patología Crónica" in 2013 and a chapter on lumbar-pelvic stabilization in the book "Métodos Específicos de Intervención en Fisioterapia" in 2016.



Principal investigator in "Physical Exercise for Older Adults" (2005-2006) and collaborator in "Muscle Imbalance in Low Back Pain" (2010-2012) and "Frailty in Older Adults: Physical Activity Intervention Program" (2011-2013).
