Olatz Gurtubai Arnaiz is a graduated (1999) and licensed (2012) in Physiotherapy from the University of Zaragoza where she also completed the Master in Structural Osteopathic Physiotherapy (2012).

Since 2014, she has been working in the Spinal Cord Injury Unit of the Cruces University Hospital where she is an instructor for the 4th year students of the Physiotherapy Degree from the 2014-2015 academic year.

Associate Professor of the UPV / EHU from the 2018-2019 academic year, she teaches the subject Physiotherapy in Clinical Specialties II at the University Hospital of Cruces.

He is currently participating in the Virtual Myoelectric Exoskeleton project: Rehabilitation system for stroke with serious games and myoelectric control of exoskeleton (EXOTEK) that coordinates IIS BioCruces.
