Degree in Physical Sciences from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid (UCM, 2005), and a Master's Degree in Complex Systems Physics (2013) from the Universidad Nacional de Eduación a Distancia (UNED). Currently doing PhD studies at UCM. Since 2005 she works as a researcher in the Meteorology Department of TECNALIA, performing surveillance and prediction tasks for the Basque Meteorology Agency (Euskalmet). Her PhD studies are related to the analysis of climate variability in the Basque Country, including the extremes of temperature and precipitation, and the possible influence of different teleconnections, mainly the teleconnection with ENSO. In 2017 she has been at Columbia University in New York (USA), at the International Research Institute for Climate and Society (IRI).
