He holds a degree in Chemistry and an international PhD from the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU (2017). He has worked for the University of Bologna as a postdoctoral researcher. He is currently an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Technology, where he teaches at the Bizkaia campus. His teaching activity focuses on Chemistry, Biology and Physics degrees. In addition, Dr. Usabiaga has a notable scientific production (26 articles, h-index 9, 221 citations) with publications in high impact international scientific journals (JACS, Nat. Comm., Angew., JPCL). His research activity focuses on the study of intermolecular interactions of relevant molecules by laser spectroscopy.
