Graduate (1995) and doctor (2003) in the UPV/EHU and doctor also in Adam Mickiewicz university (Poznan, Poland). Member of the Mathematics department of the UPV/EHU since 1995. Has belonged to the faculty board of the faculty of Science and Technology (ZTF-FCT), to the Basque committee and to the committee of the degree of Mathematics (CEG). Wide experience in teaching subjects from the areas of Topology, Geometry and Algebra. Member of 2 educational innovation projects and coauthor of 3 publications in this area. Supervisor of 6 final degree projects and a collaboration grant.



Member of the Basque Government consolidated researching group “Groups, Topology and Applications” as well as of 11 researching projects. 14 scientific publications, 13 of which are indexed in JCR and 9 of them in the first quartile Q1. About 15 contributions to national and international conferences. 2 researching six-year terms acknowledged by CNEAI. Visitor in three universities: Universidade de Coimbra (Portugal), Adam Mickiewicz university (Poland) and Universidad Central de Las Villas (Cuba). Main research lines are: Uniform spaces; Lattice theory; Insertion and extension of functions; Pointfree topology.
