1. Academic background: diploma in nursing from the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU) (1990), degree in biochemistry (1999) and doctor (2010) from the UPV / EHU.
2. Work experience: nurse in Osakidetza-Basque Health Service (1990-1998), professor at the UPV / EHU since 1999. Subjects taught: clinical nursing II, management and quality of services, practicum.
3. Research experience: author/co-author in several scientific articles and books. Main research line: nursing process, use of standardized nursing language (diagnoses, results, interventions).
4. Experience in management: director of the Nursing Department II of the UPV / EHU (2011-2019).
