Jaime Zubero has been a professor at the UPV / EHU since 2004, after graduating in Biology in 2003. He started in the Physiology department until 2010, on the one hand he received a doctorate (Koldo Mitxelena Award - health) and continued his work in the department of Nursing II until 2019.
The research initially combined a line on physiological systems (peptide systems, eg opioid syst.), mainly focused on human fertility, with publications in journals such as Andrologia, with the line in sports physiology and selection of talents, that would eventually lead to the thesis, together with publications in prestigious journals such as Journal of Sports Science and Medicine eta Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. In addition, he made a research stay between 2012 and 2013 in the INEFC of Barcelona. Meanwhile he has collaborated in basic lines related to health (physical activity and / or nutrition-food), and currently participates in a line of occupational health.
