Lawyer (University of Deusto, 1993) and PhD in Law (UPV/EHU, 2015). As a professor of this university, she teaches on the Degree of Law, Double Degree in Law and Business Administration and Management, Master of Law, and on the Postgraduate Degree of University Specialization in Working with Victims of Traumatic Experiences, both in Basque, Spanish and English (EFC). Specifically, she teaches the following subjects: Criminal Law I, Criminal Law III, New Criminal and Research Modalities and Other Innovative Forms of Inclusive Justice for Victims. She also collaborates with the Laboratory of Theory and Practice of Restorative Justice of the Basque Institute of Criminology (IVAC/KREI) and with the Legal Clinic for Social Justice of this university.



Outside the academic field, she has extensive professional experience as a lawyer of the Basque Government Justice Services (Victim Care Service and Restorative Justice Service).



Her research and publications have so far focused on the theoretical and practical study of Criminology, Victimology and Restorative Justice.
