Architect, graduated from the University of the Basque Country (1997), Doctor of Architecture from the University of the Basque Country, (2015). Professor at E.T.S. Architecture of the University of the Basque Country in the area of ​​Architectural Constructions (2003-). Professor of various masters and member of the CAVIAR Research Group. Research lines: Buildings with almost zero energy consumption, Sustainable construction, Construction on land. Various publications in the area of ​​sustainability focused on reducing energy consumption in Architecture. Since 1997 he has developed a career as a professional architect with more than 100 executed projects, especially focused on housing. During doctoral studies he develops the line of environmental comfort and the implications of the construction of buildings with almost zero consumption. In 2015 he presented his Doctoral Thesis with the title "Evaluation of the PASSIVHAUS construction standard and its application in the climate field of the CAPV". Since 2003 he has been teaching at the university in different areas related to architecture, architectural drawing, construction and installations, and environmental conditioning. Extensive knowledge of indoor comfort in buildings, focusing on NZEB buildings and the repercussions of climate change. He develops projects based on in situ monitoring of parameters linked to interior comfort.
