José Javier Pérez Martínez is an architect by the ETSA of Donostia / San Sebastián of the UPV / EHU. PhD candidate in the Doctorate Program in Architectural, Civil, Urbanistic and Rehabilitation of Existing Constructions, developing his doctoral thesis in the field of trace and geometry of medieval architectural drawing. Professor of Architectural Graphic Expression Area at ETSASS and EIG since 2010, he teaches courses in Architectural Drawing I, II, III, IV and Replanting and topography, both in Basque and in Spanish.
Degree in Official Master of restoration and integral management of the built heritage. UPV / EHU.
At present, he has been developing different lines and research projects in the field of Architectural Graphic Expression in relation to:
- Digital techniques of massive capture of data related to the architectural survey, by laser scanner and photogrammetry assisted by drone. New forms of graphic representation in the territorial, urban and architectural scope are investigated, as well as their implementation in BIM environments.
-Architectural drawing applied to formal control, through proportional and geometric systems.
- The architectural drawing of the XX in its different phases of ideation, representation and projection. The critical reflection of the conceptual changes introduced by the artistic vanguards and the transformations favored by the new technologies try to define the teacher training of the XXI century in the area of architectural
