Description and Contextualization of the SubjectToggle Navigation
"Video Creation and Other Experimental Practices" is an elective course offered in the First Semester of the Fourth Year of the Degree in Audiovisual Communication. The skills and competencies acquired in previously completed mandatory courses, such as "Audiovisual Language," "Audiovisual Creation Techniques," "Audiovisual Creation Processes," or "Analysis of Visual Forms," prepare students to take this subject. Being an elective course, students approach it with a high degree of motivation to study, analyze, and interpret the impact that video creation has had on contemporary art as well as on expression and communication.
The course combines theoretical study with practical exercises. Encouraging students to think creatively and critically about video production will help them experiment and creatively express themselves when developing their own projects.
