Trayectoria

IÑIGO BIDAGUREN DIEGO, is Industrial Technical Engineer (2001, UPV/EHU), Industrial Engineer (2007, UPV/EHU), Master in Sustainable Energy Engineering (2011, UPV/EHU), and PhD in Engineering Physics (2019, UPV/EHU). The thesis deals with the fields of Computational Fluid Dynamics and Reduced Order Models, and was carried out under the co-direction of Dr. Jesús María Blanco Ilzarbe (UPV/EHU) and Dr. Lakhdar Remaki (BCAM, ALFAISAL UNIVERSITY).

Between 2001 and 2009 he developed his professional career in the company BATZ S.Coop (Automotive Sector) in the Engineering Department. It is worth mentioning his participation as co-author in the creation of 4 patents.

Since November 2009, he has been a lecturer in the Energy Engineering Department of the UPV/EHU. He has been a member of the Research Groups of the Basque Government: IT 781-13 (2013-2018) (https://www.ehu.eus/es/web/scm/home), IT 1314-19 (2019-2021) (https://www.ehu.eus/es/web/e-cleder/inicio), and he is currently a member of IT1514-22 (https://www.ehu.eus/es/web/itsas-rem/home). He has experience related to fluid dynamic technology both in the field of experimentation and numerical simulation (CFD).

He is also a member of the Spanish Technical Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ATECYR) and secretary of its section in Basque Country.
