Degree in Geography and History (1994), University Diploma in Nursing (1998), Nurse Specialist in Mental Health Nursing (2011) and PhD in Psychology (2010) from the UPV / EHU.
She has been Deputy Director of Quality and Teaching Innovation (2012-2015) and Vice Dean of the Section of Nursing of Leioa (2016-2017) of the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing of the UPV / EHU. She has been a professor in the Nursing section of the Faculty since 2001 and in the Doctorate Program in Medicine and Surgery since 2019. She is a tutor of the Case Method (MdC) and Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Guided University Debate since 2012.
She has created the BaNER research group (Basque Nurse Education Research Group) which aims to implement, evaluate and disseminate active methodologies. She is the author of 24 scientific articles on educational innovation as well as having published teaching material in the same field. It has a six-year term recognized by the ANECA.
