She began his research career with an Iñaki Goenaga Doctorate Scholarship in the former Labein (current Tecnalia) in 2003. After completing a pre-doctoral stay from 2004 to 2006 at The Ohio State University (USA), in the Group of Professor Glenn S. Daehn, finalized her Doctoral Thesis in 2007 on the subject of electromagnetic conforming. In the 2008-2011 period, she was involved in the management of research projects as Coordinator of the R & D & I area at AZTERLAN (Durango).
In 2011 she began to manage innovation projects at ASMAOLA (IMH) and also to teach at the School of Dual Engineering - IMH. In 2013, she joined UPV-EHU as Assistant Professor in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
She is co-author of several articles indexed in JCR-SCI and a patent. She has participated in regional, state and European level projects, as well as in contracts with multinational companies. In 2014 she completed a post-doctoral stay at The Ohio State University and his field of technological specialization is metal forming, especially at high speeds. In parallel to the research activities in the area of manufacturing processes, she actively works on teaching innovation projects, especially through the use of concept maps.
