He is Mechanical Engineer by the UPV/EHU since November 2005 and Doctor since January 2011. He has been working as Lecturer since 2007 and actually he is Associatte Professor. He finished his Ph.D. Thesis (2011) in the field of thermal simulation of grinding processes and alternatives to grinding fluids in the same university. During this work he acquired a lot of experience and knowledge in topics such as numerical modelling, manufacturing processes optimization or manufacturing processes data acquisition.
He has been coautor of 29 works in JCR-SCI journals, he also has taken part in more than 20 research projects being the Main Researcher in 2 of them and has participate in more than 30 research and innovation works for industrial companies. In addition, he has been member of the scientific commitee of several scientific congresses and has acted as rviewer for high impact index journals. His H index is 13 and he has 2 recognized research periods and a research result transference period by the CNEAI.
His especialization fields are the aspects relative to sensorization, signal acquirement and experimental measurements in machining processes, numerical modelization and the development and optimization of new and existing grinding processes.
