ACADEMICS: I am a Telecoms Engineer and International PhD in Electronics and Telecomunications. I have done one pre-doc research stay at the University of Lund (Sweeden) with professor Leif Sörnmo. I worked on signal processing and machine learning algorithms to improve out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) treatment.

RESEARCH: I have (co)-authored 8 indexed papers (3 Q1 4 Q2 1 Q3), 25 conference contributions (mainly international), and 1 national industrial design. I have participated in 8 research projects funded through competitive calls.

I started my research career in 2016 in biomedical signal processing through a research contract. In 2017 the Basque Government awarded me a pre-doc grant to complete my PhD. I completed my International PhD by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in September 2020. From January 2020 to September 2021 I continued my research career in the BioRes (Bioengineering and resuscitation) group thanks to a grant provided by the University of the Basque Country (DOKBERRI). In September 2021 I joined the University of the Basque Country as an assistant professor in the department of Applied Mathematics and followed my research career in the BioRes research group. My research interests include multimodal signal processing, adaptive filtering and machine learning applied to the resuscitation field, concretely to OHCA episodes.
