Dental Engineering - Hortz Ingeniaritza (DEHI), is a research group of the Department of Graphic Design and Engineering Projects of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) that carries out research in the area of computer-aided design and related areas such as reverse engineering, generative design, additive manufacturing and augmented reality.

The research activity of this research group is oriented, as its name indicates, to the field of engineering and dentistry. Thus, the activity of this research group is aligned both with the research and innovation policy of the PCTI Euskadi 2020 and with the strategic priorities of advanced manufacturing and bioscience/health defined in the RIS3 Euskadi report, one of the guiding principles of this plan.

The objective of this research group is to carry out research in the area of computer-aided design and related areas such as reverse engineering, generative design, additive manufacturing and augmented reality, in order to integrate the latest advances made in these areas in the field of engineering and dentistry.
