Abstract: With this project we intend to continue the task undertaken in 2005, which translates into the teamwork done with the various centres dedicated to the study of the minority language media in the European Union. The proposed activities are the following: on the one hand, inviting Elin Haf Gruffydd Jones, director of the Mercator Centre of the University of Aberystwyth in Wales, and Josep Ángel Guimerá, researcher at the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona and the Institut de la Comunicació – INCOM, to take part at a series of seminars that will take place in our Faculty during the 2008/2009 course. And, on the other hand, that members of our research team spend brief stays both at the Mercator Centre and the UAB.
