GENERAL COMPENTENCIES

G003 - Synthesize, develop and apply new creative approaches to solving audiovisual communication problems.

C3CC01 - Coordinate, manage and execute audiovisual projects using technologies and expressive resources.

C3005 - Stage an audiovisual and multimedia work, properly applying the creation techniques and processes.

C4CC02 - Learn and manage needed techniques, technological resources and production routines for the realization of audiovisual and multimedia projects.

C4CC03 - Design, direct and evaluate audiovisual and multimedia projects.



LEARNING OUTCOMES

1.- At the end of the four-month period, the student will know some of the 2D and stop motion animation softwares and will learn to use them properly in practice.

2. Throughout the four-month period, the student will acquire the basic knowledge about 2D and stop motion animation and will apply it in different environments.

3. At the end of the four-month period the student will design and present a stop motion animation project

4. At the end of the four-month period the student will design and present a motion graphics animation project



GOALS OF THE SUBJECT

1. Know the origin and current situation of Motion Graphics and Stop Motion.

2. Know the fundamentals of graphic design in the audiovisual sector and develop graphic criteria.

3. Identify and understand the processes and techniques involved in animation and motion graphics productions.

4. Know, understand and apply the laws of animation and movement.

5. Learn to make basic animations using Stop Motion techniques.

6. Learn to make basic animations using digital 2D animation techniques.

7. Learn to create basic visual effects in real images.

8. Acquire basic skills in managing the software used in the subject.

9. Staging an audiovisual project using 2D animation techniques.

PRACTICAL CONTENT

Performing various exercises to develop specific aesthetic issues or learn to apply a certain technique.

Comprehensive conception and development of audiovisual pieces using various techniques of stop motion animation, motion graphics and effects generation.

MethodologyToggle Navigation

The teaching-learning methodology is based on the use of active methodologies, especially the PBL and PjBL (Problem and Project Based Learning) methodologies, and will address the development of projects individually or in groups with positive interdependence procedures. Tteaching is absed on:



• Master classes.

• Carrying out practices (exercises, cases or problems) both in the classroom and outside of it.

• Solution and explanation of problems that come up during practice.

The subject has an eminently practical approach, so 100% of the grade will be obtained through the preparation of a portfolio that will contain the exercises set by the subject's teaching team.



IMPORTANT CLARIFICATIONS

1. In accordance with the Regulatory Regulations for Student Evaluation, students who wish to abandon continuous evaluation and take the final test to pass the subject must submit in writing to the teaching staff responsible for the subject the renunciation of continuous evaluation, in the period specified in said regulations. The final evaluation will consist of the preparation of a portfolio that will contain the exercises set by the teaching team of the subject. This portfolio will represent 100% of the final grade.



2. In accordance with the Regulatory Regulations for Student Evaluation, students may resign from the call before the end date of the teaching period, within the period specified in said regulations. The resignation must be submitted in writing to the teaching staff responsible for the subject.



3. This evaluation system will be applied both in person and remotely, if the situation requires it.
