Degree and Master in Chemical Engineering (UPV/EHU, 2004) and PhD in Chemical Engineering (UPV/EHU, 2011).

Currently, I am Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).

My professional activity has always been developed at the UPV/EHU. In 2006, I started my teaching activities at the Polytechnic University School of Donostia (UPV/EHU), and since 2007 I have been involve in teaching and research at the Faculty of Science and Technology.

In addition to teaching Chemical Engineering lectures, I continue with my research within the Catalytic Processes and Waste Valorization (PROCAT-VARES) group working on hydrodynamic studies for new gas-solid contact technologies (Conical Spouted Beds), for there subsequent application in drying and valorization of different types of wastes.

Author of 37 articles indexed in the JRC (h=17, WoS) and 8 non-indexed publications. I have participated in the development of a patent, and as a collaborator in 33 research projects. I am the reviewer of several international and national journals, and coordinator in the journal of science and technology Ekaia published by UPV/EHU. I have supervised two Doctoral Thesis.
