Abbreviated CV
I Graduated in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 2009. Afterwards, I obtained my MsC in Chemical Engineering and Sustainable Development in 2010, and joined the Catalytic Processes and Waste Valorization research group to carry out the Doctoral Thesis (granted by the Basque Government) entitled "Innovations in the dimethyl ether synthesis process in a single-stage with CO2 sequestration", defended in 2014 with a Cum Laude qualification. Subsequently, I got a postdoctoral fellowship from the UPV/EHU for doctors specialization until 2015. Since 2015 I work as a postdoctoral researcher in the group, although I worked as a teacher in the FCT between December 2015-July 2016 in various subjects in the Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology degrees. During this period I have participated in several projects (funded by the UPV/EHU, Basque Government, Spanish Government and private companies) as a member of the PROCAT-VARES consolidated research group.
Currently, my research career is addressed towards: upgrading the yield of catalytic processes for the production of fuels and added value products, paying special attention to the co-feeding of CO2 in the synthesis of DME for its valorization); developing innovative catalyst; studying catalysts deactivation and regeneration; modeling and simulation of the reactors and hydrophilic membrane fixed-bed reactors. Among other scientific publications, this research work has led to 18 publications in indexed journals to date (with 165 citations, h= 8).
