María Paz Espinosa obtained her PhD from Harvard University and her BA in Economics at the University of the Basque Country. She is currently full professor at the University of the Basque Country. Her research focuses on industrial organization and energy markets, and she has published her work in journals such as The Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of International Economics, International Tax and Public Finance, Economic Theory, and Energy Policy.
